Many thanks Buffers for your delightful video. In 1949, National Service sent me to Bodmin for a 3-month spell. The Army Camp was adjacent to the line from Bodmin Road, so we saw and heard the ex-GWR Tanks Engines puffing along with a rake of coaches. A reminder that we had an escape route.
